You are cordially invited to join us for a night of enchantment at our Dancing Gala in the Magical Forest! We are thrilled to be hosting an evening of dancing, breathtaking performances, and companionship, inspired by the magical beauty of the forest.

Dress up in your finest attire and let yourself be transported to a world of wonder and magic as we dance the night away under the stars. This is an event you won’t want to miss, and we can’t wait to see you there!

There will be multiple rooms for all dance styles!

Workshop information

For this gala, you have the choice between not 1 or 2, but 3 workshops in the dance styles of Blue Suede Shoes! Which one will you join? Sign up using the ticket sign up link.

Argentine Tango workshop

An intermediate Argentine Tango workshop by Rosemary Beard and Ali Amin. Ali founded Tango School “El Corazon” in 1998 and devoted himself entirely to Argentine Tango.

Ballroom workshop

For ballroom, a lovely intermediate level Cha Cha and Quickstep workshop will be provided by Lisa Damen and Mihai Pruna, a Latin couple from The Netherlands and Romania. They have been dancing together for 4.5 years and dance in national and international Latin competitions by the NDO and WDC (2022 BeNeLux Vice-Champions and 2022 NDO Ranking Champions to name a few of their remarkable achievements).

Lindy Hop workshop

Lindy Hop is the youngest addition to the Blue Suede Shoes family, and so our teachers Max Burkx and Lucia Pellitero will give an introduction Lindy Hop workshop! They will be joined by the Lindy demo group which consists of members from the Lindy Hop association and students of the classes that started this year. This is an opportunity for you to learn one of the dances that was the inspiration for the jive!
