Tango Cafe January 2024 – with Live Music!

Happy 2024, and welcome to the first edition of this year! Three weeks into the new year, when you realise that your daily gym resolution wasn’t as realistic as you thought it would be, it is time to come back to your favourite milonga. And for the first time in Tango Cafe we will have live music by the bandoneon player Martin de Ruiter!
For this evening we will be provided by a live set of tango music by Martin de Ruiter. Martin has more than 30 years of experience playing the bandoneon. He has played bandoneon all around the world in places like Germany, France, Uruguay, and Argentina; and has played in many different ensembles. He will bring us the best danceable tango songs that he has to offer!
As always, we start the evening off with a Potluck Community Dinner, bring a dish to share! TDJ Armin will help us dance the night away, and Martin de Ruiter will bring us that extra special treat this evening!

Joining for the Tango Potluck? Bring something to share!
Everyone, student or not, from the very advanced to the complete beginner, is welcome to come dance. This evening we also have our Potluck Community Dinner, in which we bring some food to share with each other. If you would like to enjoy some drinks and food from our bar, you can either bring something to share or make a donation!

D.S.D.A. Blue Suede Shoes is a dance association by students for everyone passionate about dancing. One of our goals is to encourage new Argentine Tango dancers to start dancing socially. And where better than at our monthly Tango Café. We offer a warm atmosphere and a nice dance floor at a slightly underground location for a great evening.
