Tango Café October 2026 – Workshop with Maria

The incredible Maria will join us for the autumn edition of Tango Café! Before the milonga, we are going to have two intermediate level workshops by her, the first one on Ornaments for Leaders & Followers and the second one on “Cross system and cadenas”. Make sure to sign up for the workshops via this link.

Workshop 1 – “Ornaments for Leaders & Followers”
No partner needed—join individually! We will break down specific embellishments, analyzing technique, rhythm, and execution. You’ll learn how to incorporate these movements seamlessly into your dance without interrupting the flow.

Workshop 2 – “Cross system and cadenas”
Class to participate in couples. We will work on the cross system analyzing the differences and working on cadenas for the dancefloor – close embrace.

After the workshops, we will share a meal together (don’t forget to bring a dish to share!). Last but not least, we will dance the night away with our beginner friendly Milonga (social dance).

Joining for the Tango Potluck? Bring something to share!

Everyone, student or not, from the very advanced to the complete beginner, is welcome to come dance. This evening we also have our Potluck Community Dinner, in which we bring some food to share with each other. If you would like to enjoy some drinks and food from our bar, you can either bring something to share or make a donation!

D.S.D.A. Blue Suede Shoes is a dance association by students for everyone passionate about dancing. One of our goals is to encourage new Argentine Tango dancers to start dancing socially. And where better than at our monthly Tango Café. We offer a warm atmosphere and a nice dance floor at a slightly underground location for a great evening.
